Daddy Daughter Date

Zoe all dressed up and ready to go on her date with Daddy. Waiting to be seated at the "Bear Store" (Black Bear Diner). She was so excited to hold the pager....

They enjoyed a nice dinner at the Black Bear Diner the other night. I think this is the first time Daddy has taken her anywhere by herself. She really enjoyed her hamburger, french fries, soda, and ice cream sundae. Their evening was topped off with a trip to the "Dryer Store" (Lowe's). I was told it was her idea - looking at the picture I think she had fun driving the race car cart all by herself. She can't wait to have another date night with Daddy.

While Zoe and Daddy were having dinner; Noah and I enjoyed a nice evening together. He chose to play at the bowling center, followed by dinner at Jack in the Box as he really loves their French Toast Sticks. For dessert he decided it would be fun to go to Walmart and get doughnuts so he could share with his Zoe. I think this was the first time since Zoe was born that Noah and I have done anything without her or Daddy. It was nice to witness a different side of my son and have the opportunity to listen to everything that is on his mind. I think sometimes I get to busy to really listen to him or focus on what he has to say.

I hope to have experiences like this more often with the kids - I really enjoy the one on one time.
