While in California last week the kids and I got to see Auntie Heidi. We sure enjoyed our visit with her. The kids especially loved going to the movie "G Force" with her and getting to pick out a new toy. Noah picked out a talking Transformer "Bumble Bee" Robot and Zoe picked out a My Little Pony baby pony who talks and has her own pacifier. (I'll have to get pictures later) Trenity picked out this cool Polly Pockets roller coaster - the kids stayed entertained for hours. Here are a couple of pictures of them playing together. Thanks for the fun Auntie Heidi!

Hiding Out
My kids have discovered the joy of making forts with their cousins. They built a total of two forts, everyone had their own bedroom, and they came up with a good story line to go along with it. I didn't enjoy the mess, but they had hours of fun using their imagination. Here is a sneak peak at their fun:

Dress Up Fun
The kids had fun playing dress up with their cousin Chelsea. Zoe really liked being Tinkerbell as that was what fit her best. Chelsea loved Sleeping Beauty and the other princesses. Noah was glad he found a Super Hero cape so he could join in on the action. Here are the highlights:

Say Cheese!
The kids and I were spending a week at Grandma Sandi's house as she was going to be heading off to a family reunion and Chelsea was going to be starting school. As part of the family reunion everyone was asked to write up a family bio and include a couple of pictures - so before Dan headed back home we got out the camera and had Family Photo Shoot. Here are some keepers from our endeavors.

Time to say Goodbye
Day 7 - Time to say goodbye to Uncle Cameron. Our fun packed week has come to an end. The plan was to drop him off at Grandma and Grandpa Woffinden's house, where his Dad would pick him up. We also were invited to have dinner with Grandma and Grandpa, it was sure tasty. The kids also enjoyed seeing Peanut (Grandma's dog) and playing with the old cars and blocks. After visiting we headed up the hill to Grandma Sandi's and Papa Tim's house. The kids and I would be staying the week there, Daddy just got to spend the night. Here are some highlights:

Family Fun in Sparks
Day 6 - Grandma Sandi, Papa Tim, Auntie Tiffany, Trenity, Chelseaand my cousin Jami with her baby Maddi joined us for a day of fun. We started out at the GSR looking at cars and then we had a tasty lunch at the buffet. After that we all headed to Sparks to enjoy more Hot August Nights cars and fun. Auntie Tiffany bought the kids carnival tickets, so they all enjoyed a few rides, unfortunately they had to bail out before the real fun began, the cruise. Maybe I should clarify that a bit - the cruise is my favorite part of the week long events. I love admiring the paint jobs, listening to the engines, and the music. Hopefully they can stay longer next year. Here are a few highlights from the day, I was so glad it was a lot cooler than usual.

Off to the Races
Day 5 - I made them do a little work in the yard. Well, I didn't actually make them, I joked about Dan doing some DG since it was so cool outside. He didn't think it was too funny and actually spent a few hours out there. So, we have another section of our backyard done. Things are looking good.

Thought I'd show a few pictures of our garden; look how things have grown especially the tomatoes....

That night Zoe got to go to the races with Daddy and Uncle Cameron. Noah stayed home to play games with Mommy as he wasn't feeling good and I wanted him to be well for the Sparks family Cruise.

Rainy Day
Day 4 was a very stormy day so we decided to do something indoors. So we headed out to.....

The kids have been wanting to take Daddy there ever since we went with Grandma earlier this year. So, we decided this was the day for that to happen. We first grabbed lunch at Sam's club - the pizza there taste so much better and is so much cheaper. Noah got free tokens for his birthday and we had several good discount coupons for more tokens. Here are a few highlights:
The kids actually posed with Chuck E Cheese , granted Noah doesn't look very happy about it...Zoe was unusually willing....
Daddy and Noah playing air hockey...
Zoe driving Bob the Builders tractor....
Activities not pictured.....Doughboy Doughnuts, Walmart (to change the windshield wipers), BBQ, and Majide.
