When we arrived the first order of business was to eat dinner. Grandma and Papa took us to Teriyaki Junction and Tug Boat Fish and Chips. They are right next door to each other and have outdoor seating. We started outside, but the kids (and Papa) quickly ended up inside after Zoe got bit by a meat bee and then all the kids were terrified of any and all flying insects. If you look closely you can see Zoe's swollen eyes and the tears running down her cheeks.

To Grandma's House we Go!
The kids and I took a quick trip to Grandma Sandi's and Papa Tim's house this past weekend. The trip had to purposes: I got to attend the Sealing of a little boy (who is not so little anymore) I used to babysit and we had to pick up Uncle Cameron.

Chelsea and Trenity decided to try on their new bike helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist pads before going out to ride bikes. Don't they look cute? Or maybe a little over protected?
Some other highlights of the trip were helping Grandma and Papa clean the church and playing with their cousins. Noah and Zoe also loved being able to see all the road signs on our trip and they both promised to protect me from the bears. We also got to drive through a hail storm and at one point the roads looked like a river. I just love summer storms.
