When we go out to eat we have several detailed conversations about how we can't go in the kitchen because we don't work there. He tries his hardest to take a peak at the kitchens through windows, or open doors, and gets as close as he can to the action. He often decides he wants to work there when he gets bigger so he can go in the kitchen.
So, you can imagine his excitement when his Auntie Amy let him go inside her big kitchens, she owns two restaurants in the Portland area - Sakura (a sushi and Japanese food place) and My Place (a deli and frozen yogurt place). She managed to spoil both kids on our short visits with food, ice cream, and such....
