This is the first Easter in years that we have spent at our own house, this was not entirely by choice, but a nice change. Dan's work scheduled changed this month over Easter weekend, so he only had Easter Sunday off. He no longer works Tuesday through Saturday, he is back to a normal work week of Monday through Friday. I am still undecided on which one I prefer, they both have their positives and negatives.
Noah's sneaky ways were foiled by the Easter Bunny. He tried to sneak down the hall before we were all up, upon seeing that the table was empty, he burst into tears thinking that the Easter Bunny passed by our house. The bunny was tricky and hid everything so, we could see the kids' reaction.
Here are the kids searching for the eggs and baskets the Easter Bunny left behind.

Mommy and Daddy's basket was found first. Here they are admiring the contents.

Zoe's basket was stashed behind the pull-ups basket.

Noah's was in an empty suitcase.

Here was their favorite basket find. Butterflies that flutter down the walls. Reminiscent of the Wacky Wall Walkers from Mommy and Daddy's childhood.

Mommy enjoyed a nice Easter nap, and later that evening we had a festive Ham dinner. It was a nice relaxing day full of family fun and togetherness.

The kids had a Primary activity last month centered around the last days of Jesus' life and his crucifixion. As a result the kids have been really fascinated by the story, especially the crown of thorns and why they were so mean to Jesus. As a result they now threaten each other with a crown of thorns when they get mad at each other. If that doesn't cause enough of a stir they threaten to nail each other to a cross.
