So Many Changes

This was probably the first of many changes and to me it was kind of a bitter sweet one. I had to say goodbye to these handsome fellas at the beginning of March. I am no longer serving in the Primary as a Sunbeam teacher. I am ready to get to know some of the wonderful ladies in our ward, but I feel so unqualified for my new calling as the Relief Society Activity Leader (formerly known as enrichment leader, or homemaking leader). I was put in the Sunday before or March activity so didn't have to do much, our next activity is coming up on May 6th, so I'll have to see how things go. So far, so good I've been able to come up with more "good ideas" than I thought I was capable of.

Here are some things that have changed around our house:

Our new computer work station in the master bedroom. So, we can escape the chaos of the kids when writing talks, preparing talks, or blogging.

Zoe's "Big Girl" room complete with pink walls, a big girl bed, fairy curtains, flowers and Owls. She is so proud of it.
Noah's room has been like this for awhile now, but he couldn't let Zoe get all the attention. But we have moved some of the toys out so it stays cleaner.
As a result, the kids now sleep in there own bed, in their own room. Well kind of, at least they are no longer in our room or bed. Plus they now ask to go to bed and will fall asleep on their own. We have made so much progress in the last few months. We couldn't be happier!
Papa's Room (nicknamed by Noah) is no longer the guest room/office in the closet. It is now the playroom/craft area. This is an attempt to keep the toys out of the Family room.
Curtains in the family room. Gone are the ugly vertical blinds, that had a hand full of slats missing. Dan bought curtain rods over a year ago on clearance at Lowe's for a steal of a deal and we bought curtains this past December while at the Sacramento Ikea and finally got around to hanging them up.
The kids' backyard playground. Complete with a play structure and a play house. Oh how I love hand me downs. We trimmed the bushes, mowed the lawn, and turned on the sprinklers this past Saturday. And this is what we woke up to this morning SNOW!
The DG is finally off of our driveway and in the back yard, another project Dan and the kids accomplished on Saturday when it was nice and sunny.
