Princess Zoe

Zoe was invited to her first birthday party without brother or mommy. She was so excited that it was going to be a Princess dress up party while Noah was devastated that he wasn't invited. I tried explaining that he would be at school, to which he simply replied, "I'll just pretend I am too sick to go to school and then go to the party." I then tried to explain that it was a princess party for girls and he wanted to know, "why can't they have a prince there?" I was finally able to convince him that school was much cooler since he got to go everyday and the party was only one day. I can't really blame him for being upset, they are so close in age and are used to doing everything together. This separation with school and having separate friends has been an adjustment for both of them.

Zoe decided to dress up as Sleeping Beauty. She had fun getting all dressed up and putting on mommy's makeup.
Even with a black-eye from her recent fall off of her step stool, she makes a pretty princess.
While Zoe was at her party and Noah was at school I enjoyed a nice leisurely trip to Walmart all by myself. It was heaven.
