2 Months Old

Can't believe my baby is already 2 months old. He weighs in at a mere 8 lbs. 13 oz. He is still wearing his still wearing his newborn outfits as well as some 0 - 3 months clothes. We are beginning to run into a slight problem, he is getting too tall for footed outfits, but he is so skinny pants fall right off him. I swear all the weight he gains goes straight to his face. He is still my sweet, easy going baby and a good eater and sleeper as well. Noah and Zoe still adore him a little too much - the newness hasn't worn off. He doesn't like what little tummy time he gets, but has managed to gain good head strength and control without it.

Jack has a huge fan club. The little girls at church, especially Alexia and Reece (age 2), adore him and can't get enough of him. They come and talk to him every Sunday. They even try to hug and kiss him. His following doesn't stop there. He's got a few of the women wrapped around his finger. Who can blame them, he is super cute. I know, I'm biased, but just look at him. He's got this smile that will melt your heart. You see, they all think he does it just for them. I let them all think this so they are willing to hold him when I need to focus my attention elsewhere. I have even noticed several men commenting on how cute he is too. He is such a special blessing in our lives and brings happiness to a lot of other people as well. Some recent snapshots:

So sleepy....
Big eyes, he always has crazy eyes right when the flash goes off....
With his big sister....
Watching a movie with the gang....
With his Big Brother...
Not happy....
I took Noah and Zoe in for flu shots at the same time I took Jackson in for his 2 month check up. They weren't happy at first about getting a shots, but were glad they only had to get 1 and Jack had to get 3. They also voted for Jack to get his shots first. However, the nurse had another idea - she started from the oldest at worked her way down. This was the first time Noah didn't cry when he got a shot and wasn't hysterical before his shot. I think it helped that the nurse let him pick if he got the shot in his arm or his leg. Zoe as usual didn't cry. Jack more than made up for their absence of tears. He gave me that surprise look and what I think means how could you let them do that to me. However, unlike his older siblings he was over it by the time we made it to the car. As promised we stopped for dinner on our way home. The kids picked In n Out burger and even got a milkshake for being such good patients.

I love the last picture. He's even cute when he's not happy.
