I had the opportunity to witness the coolest funeral procession I've ever seen. It was to honor a soldier that lived here in Fernley, who lost his life last week while fighting in Iraq. He leaves behind his mother, a wife, and a 3 month old son. There was a ton of motorcycles flying American Flags, followed by miles and miles of cars. I must have sat on the off ramp for at least 15 minutes, if not longer. I must admit I was a bit frustrated at the traffic back up, until I was able to see what it was all about.
Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest, but it sure was a sight to see.
