Bishop's FHE

We had our ward Christmas Party, or as they call it here The Bishop's FHE this past Monday night. The kids got to sit on Santa's Lap. I forgot to take my own pictures, but Sister Roesler was taking pictures. I was a little scattered as we barely made it there before he left. As per my previous post it had snowed way too much and we were running a little later than we wanted to be. Dan had to chain up our vehicle so we could make it there. We had no other option as we had to bring a pan of Cheesy Potatoes, plus Dan was the MC for the ward talent show. It was a fun evening with a yummy ham and potato dinner, followed by an unforgettable show. I was surprised with the turn out because of the crummy weather - I think the Activities Committee was also surprised as they had to keep bringing in more tables in order to seat everyone.

Here are the Primary Children (including some nursery kids) singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Zooming in on my kids.
Here's Daddy at the microphone. He did a great job keeping the program moving.
I thought this was a cute picture of the kids sitting in a row. (Aspen, Teague, Kip, Noah, & Zoe)
Very attentive and well behaved through the whole thing.
I think these are cute pictures as all of their parents grew up in the same area and their Grandpa's were bishop's at the same time. What a small world. It has been so fun getting to know Mindy (Yablonovsky) Kenison and Joe Yablonovsky - we knew of each others families growing up. Add Circle (Davis) Pasto into the mix and we have our own piece of El Dorado Stake right here in Fernley.

Oh Dan...lol I am sure you were excellent at keeping the program running. I am just laughing thinking about it. The kids are so cute and growing up waaaaaaaaaay too fast.
