It's beginning to look like Christmas!

We received this big box of gifts last week. The box was almost as tall as Zoe. Thank you Grandpa Kyle and Grandma Mona. Noah was so excited and can't wait to open his gifts. He wanted us to move the advent calendar so it was only 2 days until Christmas - instead of 10. The box even included a gift for Pumpkin Pie. Needless to say after admiring the wrap job - the presents went back in the box and up on top of the fridge for safe keeping. Not only from the kids, but from me too - Dan knew if he put it up there I wouldn't go through the work of getting it down and snooping inside the wrapping paper - or go through the envelope of gift receipts. I will admit at times I am worse than the kids.

We have taken the kids Christmas shopping this year. Dan took Noah shopping for Zoe and Me. I took Zoe shopping for Noah and then took both kids out to shop for Daddy. It has been so fun trying to get them to keep them a secret. They are so excited that they randomly give clues or start to tell you what they got you. I love this age - it keeps Christmas exciting and challenging. I know I am getting something from Walmart in the hair products area - as we were walking down the aisle Noah said, "Mom, we got you one of those." I was so good and didn't look. Noah has also told me he got me Thanksgiving makeup - whatever that is. Noah told his Dad we got him tools - but I was able to stop him before he explained which ones. Zoe has told Noah that we got him tires, but I was able to stop her before she explained to him that it was a Mater (from Cars) tire fishing game. They both have been the best at keeping their gifts for Pumpkin Pie a secret. The one who wouldn't understand anyway.

We had fun helping Daddy get ready for his annual work cubicle decorating contest. He based it on the song: "Grandma got ran over by a Reindeer" (my idea). I haven't seen a picture of the final project, but he won (3rd year in a row) a $40 target gift card. Here are some pictures of Zoe modeling grandma's wig and glasses. If you listen to the song carefully there is a mention of the candles matching the blue and silver in Grandma's wig.
