N: "Look mom it's you and Granny Milkshake. Maybe we can go see the other granny."
M: "Sorry, Granny Partin lives in Heaven, with Jesus and Heavenly Father."
N: "Maybe we can drive there."
M: (silence, trying to think of what to say next)
N: "Maybe we can go there super fast!"
It made me laugh as he really was serious about meeting his Granny Partin. Unfortunately she passed away before he was born. I actually credit her with our success in getting pregnant with Noah. We had been trying for a while and one of the last things she said before she passed away is: "when I get to heaven, maybe I can pull some strings, and send Dan and Shauna a baby." We found out we were pregnant about a month after her passing... so, she did a great job.
Now, I'm just trying to do my best at raising him.

It was so fun catching up on all your posts. It's funny to hear all their little comments too. You guys seem to be keeping mighty busy. Hopefully you'll post pictures of them all dressed up for Halloween. I'll be checking in for those.
Granny Milkshake is one of my favorite people.
Shauna,
For some reason I do not have your current email address. I wanted to let you know that I have a new blog address for my family. It is http://tjcooper.blogspot.com/

I always that grandma's milkshake machine was awesome growing up. I remember when she used to let us borrow it and take it down to sacramento for short periods of time
