Canning Fun

We decided to give canning a try this year and had a lot of fun doing it. We successfully canned pears - 5 jars of plain pears, 4 jars of Cinnamon pears, and 3 jars of spiced pears. The fun didn't stop there, Dan went on to can Pickled Eggplant, Green Tomato Pickle Relish, and Salsa Verde. We hope to be better prepared next year so we can try canning pickles and beets.
