You would not believe how much dirt there was in these kids' hair, pants, and shoes.
This was an unexpected reward of doing service for others. Dan had the privilege of helping a family load up a U-Haul a few weeks ago. Unfortunately for the children that were moving, this wouldn't fit on the truck and their parents' had no idea where they'd put it once they got to the new destination anyway We are the proud new owners of a treasured play structure. The kids absolutely love it and I love that there is something to do in the backyard besides dig in the dirt.
Although, this picture shows that dirt is still a favorite past time.

It is nice to receive these very unexpected rewards, from doing kind deeds, as they are things we would not be able to afford to get our kids.
