Cooking Fun

Now that my diet restrictions are over, we have been enjoying a few of our Italian favorites without guilt.

Dan picked these eggplants from our garden....And with a few steps.....
Turned it into this....A lovely pan of Eggplant Parmesan. It was so tasty. Even the kids enjoyed it.

While at the Weird Store (aka Thrift Store), the day before Jack's birth we found a gently used Pasta Maker for $4. Noah and Dan had fun making homemade noodles. They even used vegetables out of our garden to make the sauce. Another successful dish.

I love having such a talented husband. He is such an amazing cook. I also like that he is super patient in the kitchen and gets the kids involved in the cooking process. He is also not afraid to introduce our kids to new dishes and complex flavors. Which has resulted in non picky eaters, they will eat almost anything. Our problems with them tend to involve textures, more than taste - they get that from me.

Noah will tell you that daddy is the best cooker ever.
