Lake Tahoe

Zoe got to spend a week with Grandma Sandi after Jack was born. She begged to go home with Grandma Sandi and Chelsea. We thought this would make things easier around here and that it would do her some good to have some individual attention. Plus, she had never really gotten to go anywhere or do anything by herself before. I made sure to talk to her every night.

Most conversations went like this:

Hi mom!
I'm being good.
How's the baby?
Does he miss me?
Can I talk to Noah now?

She seemed to have a blast and missed her brother Noah the most. Dan and I couldn't believe how much quieter the house was and how much different the family dynamics were without her. We knew she was well taken care of and it made life easier, but we still missed her terribly and couldn't wait to get her home.

Dan picked Noah up at school on Friday and met Grandma Sandi and Zoe in Lake Tahoe to make the exchange. On the way home They stopped at the lake to do some exploring. In all the years we have lived here in Nevada and have driven back and forth to Grandma's house we have driven past but have never stopped at the lake. Dan thought this would be a fun outing for the kids, he also thought I could use the extra time to sleep.

Here are a few pictures of their outing....
