Fun with Cousins

Trenity and Chelsea were able to spend the weekend with us. Grandma Sandi and Papa Tim had to make a quick trip to Idaho to attend Michael's baptism. They thought it would be fun to spend some one on one time with the Idaho Grand Kids, we didn't think the girls would enjoy the long car trip, and I could use Trenity's help. So it was a win-win situation for all involved.

Friday night we had dinner at Taco Bell. Noah thought it would be fun to end the night with a Dance Party. He quickly got out our "disco light" and Dad was willing to be their DJ. They must of danced around for at least an hour. I even hear Dan got in on the dancing action. This was one of my nieces favorite memories of the weekend. I missed the party - Jack and I hung out in the back bedroom away from the chaos and noise and caught up on the Conference Sessions that I managed to sleep through the week before. I did however enjoy the frequent updates from Noah and Zoe. The laughing was also refreshing to listen to. I even took a peak as Zoe was determined to get me out there.
Saturday morning, Dan got up with the kids, fed them breakfast, and got them all dressed while I slept in with Jack. They headed out to Lowe's for another building workshop. This time they made Fun House Mirrors. I was beginning to wonder what happened to them as it had been several hours since there departure. I was relieved when they finally arrived home and was surprised at the report I received. I guess taking 4 kids to Lowe's wasn't enough, so he took them all to Walmart, an auto parts store, and 7-eleven. I really appreciated the Big Gulp and Chili Dog they brought me. After lunch, they all worked in the yard and started getting out some of our Halloween decorations.

Sunday morning came much too soon, the kids can't wait to hang out with their cousins again at the end of the month.
