Dan and I were able to attend a session at the Sacramento Temple on our last trip over the hill. I still can't believe there is a temple so close to my hometown. I remember when it was announced and then it seemed like an eternity until the ground breaking finally took place. I know it has been open for awhile now, but this is the first time we were able to take advantage of it. We enjoyed a nice kid free morning and lunch. I love and appreciate that my parents are so willing to watch our kids and allow us some time to remember what it is like to be a couple. They also were gracious enough to watch them the night before while we attended a wedding reception for one of Dan's cousins.
