Noah had his 4 year-old well child exam last week I am happy to report that he is 41 inches tall (65th%) and 34 lbs. (35th%). So basically he is tall and skinny. His eyes look good - he was uncooperative for his hearing test. As he put it "I'm too shy to raise my hand." Everything else checked out great and his Doctor was pleased with his weight gain. We even get to take him off of Zantac and see how he does with out it. So far, we have gone 3 almost 4 months without throw-up. She thinks he has stomach acid issues as he seems to be an intense child, who probably internalizes everything, and may be a bit of a worrier. Nothing new there - I actually think he tends to be a little OCD - or as his Doctor put it a real rule follower. So, even though we don't have the definitive answer as to his previous health problem, she thinks we are headed in the right direction, and we will continue to take the wait and see approach. He even got his immunizations updated and is all ready to participate in Preschool this fall and then Kindergarten next fall. My baby is sure growing up!
